Born April 8, 1961 in the Lypivka Ivano-Frankivsk region (Ukraine).
Secondary education in the local school (1968-1978). In 1978-1984 gg. Studied at the Faculty of Theoretical and Experimental Physics, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, graduating with honors in “Experimental Nuclear Physics.” From 1984 to 1987 worked as an engineer-researcher in the Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics (VNIIEF).
At Precarpathian National University is working from 1987. From 1991 to 1994 he studied at the graduate school of the University specializing in “Physics of semiconductors and dielectrics”, to graduate on the same specialty defended his thesis.
Since 1995 assistant professor of solid state physics department.
He received his doctorate – 2010-2011.
Doctoral dissertation topic – Structural defect subsystem formation and electrical properties of compound films
IV-VI. Date of protection December 9, 2011. Scientific specialty – 04.01.18; surface physics and chemistry
Since 2014 – Professor of the Department of Solid State Physics and Chemistry.
Author of more than 100 scientific papers on physics processes of defects and their impact on structural and electrical properties of semiconducting solids. Science Principal Investigator protected 4 candidate dissertations and 1 doctoral dissertation, 1 doctoral graduate.
