My work is focused on the development of a new battery that utilizes new electrochemistry and sulfur-based cathode formulation in Al-S batteries, which is MIT-based startup. We focus my research and development programs on the fabrication and selection of compatible materials, as well development of new characterization strategies for improving the cycling life of different cells. My team of five research scientists and engineers cover major the company directions dealing with the optimization and development of new electrolytes, prototyping of new battery formulations of 2Ah scalable batteries, conduction of failure analysis and ASTM characterization of battery materials, electrochemical characterization of batteries as well as batteries and electrolyte modeling with COMSOL and Gaussian packages, and secure IP.

Was working on the development of experimental (at MIT) and theoretical (at Huston) studies of Lunar Regolith in Molten Regolith Electrolysis (MRE) for the Oxygen extraction process. Conducted modeling of high-temperature metals extraction and Si refining on the Moon.
